The book is like taking the blue pill in the Matrix. You won't be the same person after reading it because you will reaalize that our carbon resources were made by light from a different star system than our Sun.

After our sun was born in Orion it drifted out into the cold of space. The oceans on Earth froze over a mile deep and there were 3-miles of ice on land. Earth was in the Huronian Glaciation more than one billion years. Nothing happens during an Ice Age.

Earth was a gas planet with a 750-PSI atmosphere. Today if you go up 50 miles you are out of the atmosphere. A 750 PSI atmosphere would extend 2,500+ miles above the planet. Divide 750 by 14.5 and multiply by 50 miles and you get 2,586 miles. How is light going to get through such an atmisphere to get life started?

There was no way the sun could get through to thaw out thie ice and get life started. Eventually our solar system drifted between the two giant stars that gravitationally rule our cluster of 100 stars. The 1.5 solar mass Sirius B the size of our Earth putting out more than 100 times the UV of our Sun with more gravity and mass than our entire solar system came around, grabbed hold of us and put us in a nice circular orbit around Sirius A about 1/20 light year distance.

The additional light and heat from these giant stars piereced the atmosphere and warmed Earth. This is the only possible explanation for how we got out of the billion-years Ice Age.

Over 650-million years the carbon in our atmosphere and atmospheric pressure was taken down to 14.5 pounds per square inch with photosynthesis that laid down 12,000 feet of limestone and coal 100 feet thick. Old sea floors struck by giant meteor impacts united the hudrogen with te carbon to create oil. Earth has lost 98% of its atmospher and radiation shielding.

This is the last chance for any kind of intelligent life on this planet.
